 What is a robotic arm?

Based on their resemblance to human arms, robotic arms are usually mounted on a base. The arm is composed of multiple joints that act as axes for movement. The more flexible a robotic arm is, the more rotary joints it has.

Today, robot arms of all types are used at all levels of manufacturing, from minutely detailed circuit board assembly to large-volume heavy industries, such as automotive production lines, as well as in a wide range of 'pick and place' (conveyor belt) applications.

Aria Mastering usually uses robotic arms to outboard mastering gear based on one of the five presets you can select. These five presets are:

A – Moderate: Best suited to dynamic mixes, such as acoustic or classical songs

B – Loud: (Default Level) Standard modern mix with moderate compression

C – Louder: Best for balanced mixes that have already tastefully used compression; works great for loud genres like hip-hop or EDM

D – Loud/Safe: Best for softer songs that need to be loud; it’s sort of a hybrid between A and B for a balance between loudness and dynamics

E – Extra Dynamic: Suited for a cappella, delicate acoustic or classical recordings, dainty film scores, etc.

More often than not, Aria Analog Mastering works well if you choose the appropriate Mix Type. Moreover, if you’re not satisfied with how it initially sounds after the first master, you have the opportunity to remaster the same track an additional 5 times until you’re satisfied. Yes! You can try out all the different mastering mix types to see which sounds best for your song.

Prepare your files appropriately before using Aria Mastering. For instance, you may want to trim and fade the song before you use Aria Mastering. Also, you need to make sure that your bounce isn't already limited in terms of volume. Additionally, you should leave some pre-and post-roll at the start and end of the track.

In aria mastering, the goal is to balance the sonic elements of a stereo mix and optimize playback across all systems and media formats. Oftentimes, mastering is done using various tools like equalization, compression, limiting, and stereo enhancement.

Is Aria Mastering free?

Aria Mastering allows you to preview a section of the master for free. Simply select Preview when adding the song to your cart. It will master the song and return a 15-second section of the master back to you for preview. The first five previews are free.
